Damson Ghyll is situated at Latterhead near Loweswater in the Vale of Lorton in the secluded  north west  part of the Lake District National Park and is an ideal base for walking, cycling and touring, the Coast to Coast cycle route passes our door. Damson Ghyll has a great view of Whiteside and Grasmoor on the other side of the valley to greet you on most mornings and, if you are lucky, one or two Red Squirrels in the trees. There is an en-suite shower room; TV equipped with Sky Freesat; tea and fresh coffee making facilities; and a mini fridge for your own use. If you can’t stand feeling unconnected to the wider world for a few days, a free Wifi connection for your laptop is available. Breakfast is prepared using only the best local produce - choose from a selection of fresh seasonal and dried fruits; cereals and juice; a traditional English breakfast with bacon and sausages from Cumbria plus fresh pots of coffee/tea and toast with home-made jams & marmalades.
